Gandhi Museum, Madurai, Tamil Nadu - Rare collection of ancient artifacts
Gandhi Museum is other prime attraction of Madurai and was set up to commemorate Mahatma Gandhi. He was the main founder of the museum and after his death, the complete care of the museum was taken by Gandhi Memorial Trust in 1948. Nowadays, the museum is not only there to display the entire biography of Bapu in form of photos, paintings, sculptures, manuscripts, etc., but it has been emerged as progressive educational institute and also manages lots of exhibitions, seminars, training courses of fine arts, group discussions, etc. There is also a library within the premises of museum that possesses good range of books on Mahatma Gandhi.
