Emerald Hill is a preservation region situated in the areas named Newton and Orchard in Singapore. It was initially owned by a postal Clerk named William Cuppage. In the years 1837 and 1845 nutmeg plantations developed legitimately which made the property to obtain identification universally. Emerald hill is also celebrated for the uptown area for the high profile bureaucrats of Singapore. Emerald hill abides notable architecture of houses and memorials that show the distinctive Chinese architecture.
