In the Indian state of Rajasthan, the Chand Baori is situated in the village of Abhaneri near Jaipur. This well was constructed in 800 century and is the deepest and largest well in India.   Chand Baori is a stepwell which has 3500 narrow steps and is 100 feet deep. The Chand Baori is built in thirteen stories. This is a true example of Rajasthani architecture and built in a traditional style. While exploring this outstanding Jaipur city, do remember to visit this place. It is one of the oldest wells and is located in Harshat Mata Temple which shows a religious connection of this well.
