Bharat Mata Mandir, Haridwar, Uttarakhand - Religious belief and architectural grandeur
As the name suggests, the Bharat Mata Temple is dedicated to Bharat Mata or Mother India. The temple is quite attractive and allures lots of people just by its multi-storied building. Swami Stayamitranand Giri was the main founder of the temple and got publically opened in the year 1983. It is eight storied and each floor is dedicated to different Gods. First floor is devoted to Bharat Mata, second is Shoor Mandir, third is Matru Mandir, fourth floor has Sant Mandir, fifth floor is dedicated to the symbolic representation of different religions, sixth floor throws light on different forms of Goddess of Shakti, seventh floor is dedicated to various forms of Lord Vishnu and the last floor is dedicated to Lord Shiva. And standing on the eight floor gives you an opportunity to capture wonderful view of the city.
