Bay Island Driftwood Museum, Kumarakom, Kerala - A popular museum
Renowned as only one museum in the country having a unique collection of items made of drift wood. It is also unique in the sense that it houses twisted stumps of driftwood collected from the Island of Andaman and Nicobar showcasing the example of nature’s craftsmanship and creativity of man. These articles were originally created by sea waves and then collected, polished and modified by using innovative modern art techniques. And all the credit of this uniqueness goes to Mrs. Raji Punnoose who is presently working as the curator of the museum. Blessed with uniqueness and unmatched artistic value, the museum is a great place of attraction for the tourists.
