Ambaji Temple, Surat, Gujarat - Religious belief and its beautiful structure
As the name suggests, Ambaji Temple is a place of worship dedicated to Goddess Amba. This magnificent temple is located in the hub of Surat. As per few legends, Maharaja Shivaji came here to bestow his head in front of Ma Ambaji after attaining victory in a war. The temple is also frequently visited by the local people also to worship Ma Ambaji. This temple is also famous for its Rath Yatra especially held on Dussehra of every year. The Rath Yatra held in Surat offers a great view and comprises of four Raths completely decorated with garlands and flowers, which is really awesome!!!
