The Abu Simbel Temples are said to be one of the biggest historical sites in Egypt. This place is simply unique because of the number of visitors who would love to stopover here, and its seemingly colossal size! In reality, these temples are huge rocks originated in Nubia which is in the southern part of Egypt. And to its west end is the Lake Nasser. Egyptians were known for protecting their heritage and monuments, and hence, they moved the lake towards the lake assuming that it might threaten the temple. This job was simply nothing too problematical for the great Egyptian.
