Built in the 17th century by King Singe Namgyal as the royal residence, Leh Palace is located in the Himalayas that have been attracting tourists from all over. Nine-storeyed palace which is in ruins now was deserted after the family shifted to Stok in the 19th century. One can have an adventurous journey to reach the palace which is very popular tourist spot. It offers an amazing view of the Namgyal and a breath taking view of the Himalayas. The architecture is basically medieval Tibetan architecture. The palace is very majestic and provides wonderful views of the snow-capped mountains and the panoramic landscape.
