This giant fort is situated at 64 kms away from Udaipur in the north side. It is popular as second significant citadel just after Chittorgarh fort in Rajasthan. This enormous fort was built in the fifteenth century by one of the famous Rajput Kings, Rana Kumbha. Kumbhalgarh Fort is nestled in the Aravalli ranges. One more fact that make this fort significant is that Maharana Pratap took birth in this place only. Chirping birds also offers a lot for making place in the heart of the visitors. In the 19th century, the fort was renovated by Maharana Fateh Singh. The fort provide great views of the artifacts and attention-grabbing ruins.
