Katra Keshav Dev Temple in Mathura is the most visited temple by the devotees. The temple is famous as it’s origin is also connected to the birth of Lord Krishna. According to some famous legend, it was believed that Lord Krishna has taken birth in a small cell room and this temple was built over the prison cell. Abe-In-Nabir Khan built Jama Masjid just adjacent to it in 1661 A.D. The temple mainly belongs to Lord Keshav Dev and the fascination of the temple is at the cloud nine during the celebration of “Keshav Dev ka Mela”.
