Jaswant Sagar Dam, Jodhpur, Rajasthan - Mind Boggling Dam with boating
In village Pichiyak, there lies mind-boggling dam named as Jaswant Sagar Dam. This dam is situated between Bhavi and Bilara – the two main districts of Jodhpur. This gigantic dam was constructed by Maharaja Jaswant Singh in the year 1892. The main motto of building this dam was to solve the problem of water for irrigation in Jodhpur. Also, the hand behind the greenery of Jodhpur city is that of this dam only. But, this dam also offers a lot for tourists like there is boating facility for the tourists to spend their whole day here.
