Itmad Ud Daulahs Tomb, Agra, Uttar Pradesh - Magnificent Mughal styled architecture
One of the significant architectural marvels of the city is also referred as the Baby Taj, as the tomb is considered as the copy of the TajMahal. Built between 1622 and 1628 the tomb comprises of numerous outbuildings and gardens. Like all other tombs built during the Mughal Empire, the ItmadUdDaulahs Tomb is also built from red sandstone with marble decorations. The tomb is situated on the left bank of the Yamuna River and was commissioned by NurJahan for her father MirzaGhiyas Beg. Do visit the tomb and come across the magnificent Mughal architecture.
