Escape to Grand Bahama Island's isolated Lucayan National Park, where wooden walkways lead through a dense mangrove marsh to one of the Bahamas' most natty beaches. At Gold Rock Beach, glowing seas recede at low tide to reveal soft rippled sand. Paddle in the pink-tinged shallows and spy stingrays gliding alongside the sandy bottom. There are interesting rock formations and offshore reefs to discover from above the water and also while snorkelling. And the surrounding area is absolutely beautiful, particularly at sunset.
