It is a historical structure in Madikeri and is a much sought after attraction among the history buffs. The tomb is embedded in indo-arsenic style of architecture and houses various tombs of Kodavas royals and court dignitaries. The tomb placed in the centre is of Raja Doddaveerarajendra and his queen. In the right side, there is the tomb of Lingarajendra which was built by his son in 1820 AD. In the left is the tomb of Rudrappa, the royal priest of the Kodavas. The Raja’s tomb is located on a hill top and offers panoramic views of the entire city.
