Dholavira is a small town of archeological interest and is one of the most remarkable excavation sites of the Harappan culture. Surrounded by the Great Rann of Kutch, it is an unusual attraction to take an insight into the Indus Valley civilization and ancient Harappan script, the oldest signboard of the world. The small town represents a Harappan city similarity with three different complexes- an Acropolis, a middle town and a lower town. The excavation of Dholavira also depicts the story of 7 ages of civilization and their development and decay. Thus, the site is indeed a worth visiting place to contemplate the progress of Indian civilization.
