DargahSharif, as the name suggests, is one of the main Muslim pilgrimage. It is the holy place where the corporeal body of well-known Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chisti got buried. Thus, it holds great significance especially at the time of Urs Festival. Located at the foothill of deserted hill, this mosque is well dignified as the second important religious place in Muslims’ life just after the Mecca and Medina. The architecture of this magnificent mosque is quite appealing and eye-catching and sets perfect example for Mughal style architecture. Khwaja was supposed to be the patron of the needy people and therefore, he was also summoned as Gareeb Nawaz. This religious site not only allures Muslims of all over the globe but almost all the people to Ajmer once visit this architectural marvel!!
