Connaught Peak in Mahabaleshwar is well recognized as the second highest peak of this region. For reaching to this astonishing peak, one has to cover long distance as it is located at a height of 1400 meters above the sea level. Mount Olympia was the first name of this peak, but later on it got converted to Connaught Peak. The majestic views of Venna Lake and Krishna Valley are really unrivaled. The enclosures of Connaught Peak make this place more demanding and popular as it has Ajinkyatara to its south, Kamalgadh, Rajgadh and Torana to its north, Pratapgarh to its west and in the east, one could see PasaraniGhat and Panchgani.
