Chandi Devi Temple, Haridwar, Uttarakhand - Religious belief and architectural grandeur
Chandi Devi Temple is placed at the summit of Neel Parvat in Haridwar. The temple is not only famous for being a religious site but is also known for the photography of stunning views seen from this point. In 1929, the temple was built by Suchat Singh, the legendary king of Kashmir. The temple is mainly dedicated to Goddess Chandika Devi and is visited by almost all the visitors to Haridwar. For reaching the temple, one can hire tongas, taxis, cycle rickshaws and also auto rickshaws. Trekking is also another way to reach this awesome temple situated on the pinnacle of the hill.
