Central Research Institute, Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh - A famous institute for the development of various vaccines
This institute was established in the year 1905 by the British colonial rule and since then the captivating ambience and beautiful campus of the building attracts a number of visitors every year. The institute is associated with the active research and formulation of various vaccines which are supposed to be quite effective in the treatment of various diseases such as cholera, small pox and typhoid etc. Apart from it, CRI has developed vaccines against Rabies and Snake bites and it also offers graduate and post graduate courses in the field of immunology and virology. Not only this, the serious efforts of the institute have been appreciated universally and it is also presently working with WHO in order to treat polio, measles and DTP by vaccination.
