Catholic Church, Kalimpong, West Bengal - Wonderful architecture and one of the best historical monuments
Other fantastic must-see of Kalimpong is the Catholic Church. In Kalimpong region, this gorgeous Church was supposed to be the largest one and magnificently built by the Christian Missionaries. This Church was constructed in 1890 when the Raj Kingdom was ruling the region but it got opened for the general public in the year 1891. Mr. Hardy, an Edinburg architect, put his complete effort to make this place a marvel and fortunately, he succeeded. The Church was built completely in Western style architecture and has a unique and distinct art and architecture. Therefore, art lovers must not miss this awesome attraction sited in Kalimpong!!
