Birla Temple, Jaipur, Rajasthan - Religious belief and architectural grandeur
This is another major attraction of this outstanding city. The temple is built in a contemporary manner with purely marble. In the night, the temple shines like a star when all the lights are lit up. In the year 1988, the Birla Group of Industries has built this enormous huge temple which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. Due to which the temple is called Laxmi Narayan temple. Three domes have been created that represent three different approaches of religion. The temple is surrounded by lush gardens carved with beautiful sculpture based on mythological themes whereas the interior is made of white marble depicting mythological events.
