Batang Ai National Park, Sarawak, is one of the copious national parks of the kingdom, which are renowned for their natural beauty and various flora and fauna. It is located in the Sri Aman Division of Sarawak, in eastern Malaysia on the isle of Borneo and the park is about 250 km away from east of Kuching.Batang Ai National Park extends over an area of 240 square kilometers and possesses of lush rainforests featuring some of the dying out and unusual species of animals. There is also a 24 square kilometer synthetic lake within the park that was shaped by the Batang Ai hydroelectric reservoir.
