Bahu Fort, Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir - Ancient Temple in the Fort
Bahu Fort is one of the main attractions located in Jammu. It is situated only at the distance of 5 kms from the city center on the bank of River Tawi. Raja Bahulochan was the ruler who built this massive fort around 3000 years ago. But later on, the fort was renovated for several times by different rulers. Within the premises of Bahu Fort, there is one of the famous temples in Jammu named Maha Kali Temple or temple of Bawey Wali Mata. This magnificent temple was constructed in 1822 and since then, the temple also adds lots of visitors to Bahu Fort every year.
