Aurangabad Caves are a cluster of ten caves and they are divided into two different sections as per their locations. Like 1-5 caves are placed under the Western Group caves and then, 6-10 caves comes under the other section named Eastern Group Caves which is situated 1 km farther from the Western Group. Tantric Hinduism has the main contribution behind the designing and molding of the idols engraved in these caves. The main images that are quite alluring in these caves are images of Buddha along with Ganesha and also Buddhist monastery of former times. To visit these caves, you have to pay a little amount of INR10 as an entry fees and from foreigners, INR100 is charged.
